This is an Open Bid Sale Event, open to the public

It is the buyer’s responsibility to review and judge vehicle condition before bidding.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO BID. 

Go to Register for the Auto Auction (deanstowingauction.com) to register.­ If applicable, have your Dealer License ID and expiration date ready.

Must be 18 years of age or older to bid. 

WHEN DOES THE AUCTION START AND END?

Auction will start Closing on Tuesday @ 3:00pm.  Lots will be extended for a period of time if bids have been placed upon closing of lot.

HOW TO BID? 

Login to deanstowingauction.com review the list and place your bids. 
You may also download the App available for your iPhone and Android, simply follow the instruction when you log in from your phone.

WHAT IS THE STARTING BID?

Bids start at $300; Floors are set @ $300 fluctuating based on current scrap value. 

WHEN CAN I INSPECT THE VEHICLES?

Vehicle Inspections are held the Monday prior to each auction start as follows:

Albert Lea - 10:00AM-3:00PM

Owatonna - 10:00AM-3:00PM

Faribault - 10:00AM-3:00PM

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I WON THE BID? 

Since this is an open sale both buyers and sellers can see your bids. You will be sent an email no later than 24 hours after the end of the event notifying you of your winning bids. You can also login to deanstowingauction.com for a list of vehicles won.

HOW DO I PAY? 

We accept CASH ONLY, accepted at the time of vehicle pick up. 

Credit Card payments are accepted by pre-approved business arrangements only. 

All vehicles will be assessed a buyer’s fee. If additional fees are to be assessed, they will be listed in the auction lot details. 

HOW SOON CAN I PICK UP MY CAR? 

Vehicles won located at the Faribault location must be paid for and picked up the Thursday following the end of the auction (2 business days) between 8:00am - 3:30pm.

Vehicles won located at the Albert Lea location must be paid for and picked up the Thursday following the end of the auction (2 business days) between 8:00am - 3:30pm.

Vehicles won located at the Owatonna location must be paid for and picked up the Friday following the end of the auction (3 business days) between 8:00am - 3:30pm. 

During pick-up no repairs of any kind are allowed, including but not limited to: locksmiths, gas, battery installation, tire change, etc. If the vehicle won’t start or cannot be safely driven, you must arrange for a tow. No exceptions. 

WHAT IF I WON VEHICLES AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS? 

Email josh@deanstowing.com to make arrangements for a single payment and pick-up day. 

WHAT IF I DON’T PICK UP THE VEHICLE WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME?

Failure to pick up vehicle(s) won by required day(s) as stated above will result in a $50 per day storage charge. 

If alternative arrangements have not been made within the stated pickup time frame, you forfeit your winning bid. This will result in losing your bidding privileges. 

ARE VEHICLES REGISTERED WHEN AUCTIONED?

All vehicles are auctioned and sold as unregistered unless stated in auction description.  Bill of Sale, notice of public sale, Affidavit of Certified mail, Proof of publication are supplied to buyer in order to facilitate registration with Minnesota DMV. 

If title transfer is desired, winning bidder is REQUIRED to facilitate transfer of vehicle ownership through the Minnesota DMV after a motor vehicle safety check has been completed. 

This is an “AS IS WITH ALL FAULTS Auction”, we do everything in our power to list the cars condition accurately and highlight the major flaws in advance on the site.

Dean’s Towing hereby disclaims and excludes any and all warranties of title, including without limitation that the title is good, and its transfer is rightful, and that the vehicle is delivered free from any security interest or other lien or encumbrance.

These are impoundment vehicles; we do not know the full history of the vehicle.
